Unfortunately, drivers at times face challenging situations during their work. Sasa Rides has put together simple but effective features in the app for use to help stay safe.
Women drivers
Women drivers have the option to pick female riders.
Trip tracker
We encourage drivers to share the trip with friends or family for safety reasons. Someone needs to know you are safe.
Cashless payment
Riders pay using their wallet money.
Screening a rider
Screen carefully your rider before accepting a trip. Check the rides made by the rider in the past. Review your rider. Riders who consistently abuse drivers will have their accounts deactivated.
Emergency assist
The in-app discrete panic button will soon be available on both apps. If unsafe, or in a medical emergency the features allow you to connect with our Rapid Response Security and Medical partner.
Know your locality
Some areas are not just safe to be.
Similarly, driving at night poses a higher risk. Drivers are encouraged to take extra caution.
Safety on the roads
All drivers should adhere to the rules and regulations of driving at all times.
Fatigue and health management
Driving when tired or sleepy puts everyone on the road at risk including yourself. All drivers are encouraged to have good sleep habits and stay refreshed between trips by taking short naps, food, and water after a few trips.
